Panama Bound
In the era of long-format videos, video clips, reels, stories & posts ~ it feels as if the blog medium has become old-fashioned if not obsolete.
Guatemala
Guatemala was one of the first countries we sailed to 10 years prior where we truly figured out how to take advantage of overland travel.
Honduran Islands
Swan, Guanaja, Roatan, Cochinos, Utila ~ these are the Honduran islands that we were able to cruise for about two months this spring.
Farewell Bahamas
The Bahamas is a special place. We know that wherever the anchor may drop, it will always be compared to our experiences here, where the water is an impossible blue and the islands are plentiful and welcoming.
Out Islands
For as much time as we have spent in the Bahamas, we hadn’t visited several of the southernmost islands in the archipelago.
Full Circle
We have come full circle in 2021. We started the year in the Bahamas and will end the year in the Bahamas.
Back Underwater
We arrived back in the Bahamas in mid-November. It is great to be back to enjoy some nice weather and get underwater almost every day.
Short Season
Our time in the Bahamas is winding down. This year turned out to be a short season for many reasons, but we were glad to make it here at all, as opposed to last year.
Water time
As long as weather permits, we are in the water to visit our underwater friends.
Crooked & Acklins
A cold front pushed through with light west winds for a few days, so we decided to visit the Crooked Acklins islands with m/v Roam and s/v Elpis.
Bahamas Bound
We left Miami in the rearview right after the New Year and headed east across the Gulf Stream.
Miami Beach
We started the year on the west coast of Florida and will end the year in Florida.
Georgia to Florida
In all, we spent five months back in Georgia at our hurricane hole marina at Brunswick Landing.
Florida to Georgia
The six months we spent on the West Coast of Florida was a productive, if not surreal time.
